John Nash and his wife died in a car accident this past Saturday in New Jersey. If you've studied economics (or math, or computers, or politics or biology....), you've been influenced by John Nash. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics in 1994 for his contributions to game theory.

"Adam Smith needs revision."
Good scene from a great movie. Thanks.
He was talked about in my Philosophy of Evolution class in the PAR department for game theory applied to evolutionary behavior and in my Micro class, he truly was a brilliant man and contributed greatly to the academic community. Applying his game theory to ethical dilemma's is one of my favorite applications in my ethics based PAR classes, since I am a double major.
